SNORKELING and SCUBA Diving for KIDS
At Patagon Dive Center we observe a growing interest for starting Snorkeling and SCUBA Diving at an earlier age as more and more parents encourage their kids to explore the underwater world

PADI standards allows Kids, as young as 5 years old, to take snorkeling lessons, and Kids, as young as 8 years old, to take SCUBA shallow dives (6 feet max.). Youngsters at the age of 10 years old can join the adults' beginner dives and/or get their PADI Junior Open Water Diver certification.

At Patagon Dive Center we love to work with kids and we are proud for taking a lead, over the years, for introducing the experience of the Sea to youngsters. Our professional staff have the necessary training and experience to attend to our young customers.

We can also provide the Kids with the proper fit sizes when comes to snorkel gear, SCUBA gear, and wet suits.

Please, ask us about the following programs:

  • Bubble Maker
  • Young Explores of the Sea
  • Seal Team
  • PADI Junior certifications

    the_ides The Ides
In the families of brothers John and Chris Ide almost everyone is a SCUBA diver. During their vacations the grown ups take turns among them to go diving or watch the younger Ides. A couple of times, the youngsters also go for a "kids only" dive trip. Then, either John or Chris come along to help Patagon staff with the young dive crowd. The kids have a great time. We all want to thank John and Chris for their support and "in the water help" with that busy bunch of youngsters..
    Christian Christian
Chris is an expert Bubble Maker. Since he is not 10 years old yet PADI rules allow him to go SCUBA diving at depths no deeper than 6 feet. This is called the Bubble Maker program.

Chris is an entusiastic diver and already made a number of dives on many different shallow reefs. In the photo he is holding a rater large size hermit crab he found on some sea grass bottoms. He is just taking a look at it and will put it back on the bottom like a good responsible diver should do in protecting the marine life of the coral reefs!
